I ended up being Buffy the Vampire Slayer this year! I felt very season 2ish with the length of my hair, so I pulled it up in a ponytail, donned a Claddagh ring and cross choker, turned a broken drumstick into Mr. Pointy (Buffy's own personal stake) and proceeded to get drunk with a prom queen and Princess Lazylee.
Okay, so on to the good stuff...
Tomorrow is election day! Finally! I am really excited to cast my vote because I've kept up with the issues and candidates, and feel very passionate about some in particular. I am an Obama supporter (deal with it- I refrain from verbally bitch-slapping people with opposing opinions, and so can you), so it will be interesting at the polls tomorrow here in PV. Someone thought it would be a good idea to post McCain/Palin signs on the center dividers outside of our condos, which I can't believe would be legal since it's public property. We've also had issues with people blowing up Obama signs in RPV! Yes! Here! I'm hoping to be one of the first in line in the morning so I can get back home and see how it all plays out, knowing I've done my part :)
But no matter who is victorious tomorrow, I simply hope that our country is better for it. Morale is low and we need true unity to give us renewed purpose. The individuals who make up this country deserve it.
Who dressed as a Disney Cast Member and what did their costume look like? I'm so curious.... :)
ReplyDeleteAnd hooray for voting :) I'm about to ride a little blurb about voting as well...how can you not :)
