How many weddings have you been to? I've only been to ... let me think ... 4. This weekend will be my 5th, and I am so excited! Rather than ultra traditional, this bride and groom are going very Hollywood. And Moroccan!
While the wedding will be held at a church in Hollywood, the reception is going to be at a Moroccan night club nearby. We'll be forgoing the traditional sit-down dinner for a night-long appetizer spree, an open bar, outdoor lounges and lots of dancing!
I've always had a thing for Moroccan decor, so this wedding may inspire a home reinvention in the weeks to come!

How fun! I wish I was photographing a wedding like that...awesomeness. :)
ReplyDeleteFunny - I'm going to be at a wedding this weekend too (Sat)...but I'm the photographer....but it's a friend of Michelle's (weird when your little sister has friends getting married!)...so if you don't count weddings I've worked at (which this will only be 2 as of Sat) then I've been to 3...although I think i went to one when I was a kid that I don't really remember.
I love weddings!!! Everything about them is magical, which is one reason why Joe and I want to wait to get married. We want to have the funds to make it a huge bash to remember!

I think in total I've been to 4 weddings. 3 somewhat recently and 1 when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteThe wedding your going to looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to here about it when you get back
Great that the couple are bringing some exotic flavour to proceedings. How I long to visit Morocco. For now I'll just have to be content with creating illusion courtesy of shisha, honey and mint tea and lamb and cous cous. Take lots of pics amidst all the dancing! ;)
ReplyDeletei love your blog, please check mine out at www.instantlyruby.blogspot.com, maybe if you like it enough you could write a post about it, i would love that!!!!

ReplyDeleteohhh I can't wait to see this!! This should be fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteI read your profile and I honestly think I only knew what half of those words mean. I've never felt so dumb in my life... except for when my mom's April Fools joke on me was that I had to repeat the 4th grade. I felt pretty dumb for a few minutes back then.
ReplyDeleteI simply adore Moroccan styling! The colours are so rich and vivid! Personally, I'm a 'colours' person.
ReplyDeleteFun fun fun! I love weddings. :)
