Running Diaries- 2

Running has turned out to be way easier than I'd expected! Why did I treat this form of exercise as I would a trip to the dentist? In fact, up until now, I probably would have rather spent the morning in a dental chair!

I'm not a master runner yet, but I can make it through an entire mile without being too winded. In regards to that half-marathon I'd set my sights on for the end of September, I know now that I had the "eyes too big for stomach" syndrome. I may not make it (or might, you never do know!) but I'm just happy that I've proven to myself that I can run!

Now that I know, I have a new hobby/addiction ;)

  1. Good for you!!! Any exercise is good for the body. Who cares if you can't get to the goal, yet. But watch out for the next event right?? See, it's a win win situation for you.

    Happy jogging.

  3. You should check out the Nike+ 10k it's coming up in October and I believe 10k is about 6 miles, so it's not as intense as a half marathon but definitely still a challenge!
