I owned every volume of Sweet Valley Kids, Sweet Valley Twins, Sweet Valley High and Sweet Valley University. I spent my birthday money on the "Super Editions", "Super Chillers" and "Magna Editions". All of my friends scoffed at my love of Sweet Valley as they bragged about their collections of Baby-Sitters Club books, but nothing could deter me from my adoration of these Californian twins!
Therefore, I am insanely pleased to announce the news that Diablo Cody (screenwriter of Juno) has signed on to write the upcoming Sweet Valley High movie! The TV series that was created in the early 90's had a certain cheese factor to it, but with Cody at the wheel, I think the upcoming movie has amazing potential!
Squeal!
