As you may already know, November brings us National Novel Writing Month! The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30. This will be my third year as a participant, and I'm predicting my first across the finish line. I've fallen short in previous years, but have a fierce determination this time around!
Who here is a NaNoWriMo enthusiast? I highly encourage you to check out the site and see if this frenzy is meant for you! It's an incredible experience!
I always get excited about this and write about a chapter and never finished.
ReplyDeleteI would love to write a novel, but I come up with a story and write a few chapters and never know how to finish it.
Good luck with you writing.
What a wonderful goal! I'd love to be involved. Maybe I'll try for next year.
ReplyDeleteWOO! You go, girl! I need to take baby steps, so I've made this Nov. my own personal NoReMo (novel research month)...feeding off that good NaNoWriMo energy to make some progress.
ReplyDeleteI tried NaNoWriMo last year (and failed miserably). I'll of course be putting on a second attempt this year. :P Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI hope Natalie enters that competition one day, she's such a great writer!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you in finishing your novel ;D Hope we can have a peak when it's done...
Awh that sounds so amazing! I love writing but when it comes to me finishing the story it takes months and months and I hate that about myself because it's something I love to do.
ReplyDeleteGo you though!! uber exciting *thumbs up!*
xx
I always plan to do this but never quite pluck up the courage. I think I'm going to go for it. A month doesnt seem like enough time though. I guess you just gotta 'turn up to the page' as Julia Cameron says.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your writing.
That is one thing I am not good at! Good luck Jen...I know you will write something wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteLuLu~*xoxo
My friend Angel is doing this... I would love to, but I have WAY too many things going on this month to take on another task... even a fun one like this!
ReplyDeleteMaybe next year... and good luck!!
Good luck. I've got too many half-finished novels to half-finish another one in a month. *sob*
ReplyDeleteWow I would love to try that. Not sure if I will get around to. But good luck to you! I'm glad I found your blog :)

Thanks for providing the link! I also wanted to try this out last year but I completely forgot about it. I finally signed up, though! I'm off to start outlining now.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with yout entry, BTW!
ReplyDeleteI did NaNoWriMo a few years back and it kicked my ass...but I got a script out of it instead, so I'll always be grateful :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know this even existed. Thank you so much for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's the first I've heard about this. How cool! Maybe I should try. I have about 100 pgs started years ago but never finished. Maybe that could be a goal for a start. Love your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI signed up! Yeah! And I'm so excited. Added you... nicoletterenee.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck! xoxo
