Spic and Span Disneyland

I know I've talked about Disneyland once or twice already, but here I go again! Random tidbit: did you know that Disneyland attendance jumped 8% last year, even with the economy being what it is? Their blog attests this, in part, to their super tidy ways.

Something that has always amazed me is that with 40,000+ visitors each day, the park is pretty darn sparkly clean! No trash, no gum on the ground, no weeds. It's neat to see their adorably dressed street-sweeping male employees walking behind guests sweeping dropped straw wrappers up as soon as they hit the ground. When you think about it, Disneyland really does provide A+ service!

So where does the park find time to detail and fine tune every inch of the property? In the wee hours after the park closes. I've seen amazing videos of nighttime decorating around the holidays, and it's incredible to me that there's this whole other side to The Happiest Place on Earth that we're not privy to!

  3. I love that about Disney! And underground is a whole other world where all of the elves work from what I understand. They really do an amazing job. I couldn't agree more!

    XO,

  4. I love Disneyland! I probably go 2-3 times a year. It just makes me so happy.

They don't sell gum in the park for the very reason of trying to cut the amount that may happen to be on the ground. I would love to see the video of them decorating for Christmas. It is so beautiful.
