Mary Poppins' Bag

I think it's time to put my big girl panties on and admit that I need a more age appropriate purse. I've spent the week hopelessly trying to keep allergy pills, glasses, keys, brush and makeup all crunched under the zipper of my tattered black purse that's the size of my shoe!

I've never been a purse girl. At all. I like small, simple, and un-cumbersome! Nothing heavy. Nothing that makes my arm flair out to the side. Nothing that my hand has to be occupied with. Basically, I don't want to notice that my purse is even there.

But, I'm 28. And I suppose that if nothing else, I need a larger purse to act as a transitional bag between twenty-something club-goer and thirty-something diaper bag toting ballet mom (please don't let me be a soccer mom!). So what do I do?

If I had my way, I'd be the proud owner of the Cupcakes and Cashmere bag via Coach! Since that's not happening, do you have any suggestions as to what I should I buy instead?

  1. I went the big purse way a few years ago and now I love it. The one I've been hauling around for the past two years, because no matter what I buy I go back to it, is from Maxx. That Coach bag is quite lovely.

  3. Well, over the weekend I stuffed a Nutella-laced dessert in my purse to take home, and the Nutella leaked all over the inside. I guess it really is time to find something else!
