Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros is a beloved song around here, mainly because my boyfriend's sister knows the drummer and we were turned onto this magical song before the video even came out. In fact, he was a groomsman at the Haute Wedding last summer.

Not only is Home a super fun song, but it's also incredibly charming and touching. It whimsically captures what love should be!

Since discovering the tune, I've heard it played on several TV shows (although I can't remember a single one right now) and it gives me warm fuzzies every time!

[Him:]
I'll follow you into the park,
Through the jungle through the dark,
Girl I never loved one like you.

[Her:]
Moats and boats and waterfalls,
Alley-ways and pay phone calls,
I've been everywhere with you.

[Him:]
We laugh until we think we’ll die,
Barefoot on a summer night
Nothin’ new is sweeter than with you

[Her:]
And in the streets you run afree,
Like it's only you and me,
Geeze, you're something to see.
