Museum Day

I'm collapsed on my couch after a little museum spree earlier today! My bestie, Crystal of Avery James Photography, invited me to visit dinosaurs with her and her four year old son at La Brea Tar Pits. I think I'm the only person in Los Angeles who hadn't been, so jumped at the chance to check another museum off my "LA:To Do" list.

After the tar and bones, we set off to LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). Crystal and I remembered a field trip to the museum that we went on back in high school, so thought it would be fun to revisit an old stomping ground. As seniors, we loved the special Van Gogh exhibit that was flown in from Paris and on display in 1999. Today, we enjoyed Picasso's great works!

We ended our day at our favorite food truck, Louks. They serve the most addicting Greek cuisine with friendly smiles and huge portions. I think that it was serendipitous that the ever-on-the-move truck was parked directly across the street from our little adventures!
