So, the wisdom teeth saga continues. It's been 5 days since the oral surgery and I'm nowhere near the point of solid food yet. I do have a lovely pollen-yellow bruise across my face though!
After an impromptu trip back to the oral surgeon for more pain meds today (where he poked and prodded until I was swollen all over again), I've begun to think that my life is going to revolve around pureed soups for quite some time.
My mom has been wonderful this past week and keeps sending me home with smooshy versions of my favorites from home, but I'm admittedly burning out on Potato Cheese (I know, gasp!).
So, today I did a little experimenting in the kitchen. Of it came nothing great, a little good and a lot of bad!

Oh tear. I had the worst time with my wisdom teeth and had so much soup and ice cream is was ridiculous. Just rest up :)
ReplyDeleteOh Sweetheart...I am so sorry you are having such a horrid time. I hope you get better soon.
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to see these recipes since I will be having some surgery sometime in the next month and a half and will have to eat pureed food and soup for about 2-3 after that. That apple peanut butter soup looks soooooooo good!
Get well!!
