Fill in the Blank Friday- Hair

{missing my longer locks}

I think I'm going to start joining in for "Fill in the Blank Fridays". I saw this on Sweet Lime and Savory Snack, and I believe that it originates from The Little Things We Do. Feel free to join in as well- in the comments or on your own blog!

"Today's theme is every woman's crowning glory: her hair. Today's blanks will cover the good, the bad and the ugly."

1. My last haircut was in August. I hate cutting my hair, but I'm determined to have a full head of natural hair grown out before dying it again- and I still have a few inches to chop off before that happens. We'll see how that goes ;)

2. My most daring hair moment was when I dyed it black. It went over even worse than the pink! Ahh, high school!

3. A hairstyle I'd never be brave enough to try is any sort of pixie. It's just not me.

4. I've always dreamt of being a (blonde, brunette or red-head) blonde. It suits me better than most colors because I'm so fair-skinned, yet my natural color is quite dark.

5. My go-to hair do is straightened with a bit of curl at the ends. I also do this super easy (but complicated looking) twisted bun when I'm having a bad hair day.

6. My biggest hair disaster was probably when I came back from the salon with orange hair. It was so embarrassing, and there was nothing I could do without ruining my hair.

7. A hairstyle I am dying to try is any sort of new bun! As soon as I have some length back, my hair will be up all the time!

8. My best hair day was my first date with my boyfriend :) It was long, healthy and blonde.

9. The worst hairstyle I ever had was when I asked the stylist (who didn't speak much English) to give my bangs like Jennifer Garner. I even brought a photo. The problem was that the photo showed the bangs swept to the side, so the stylist just cut that side of my hair past my ear. Wallah, instant permanent side bangs! Oh joy.

10. My hair is very, very sad right now :( I think that Pantene may have discontinued the particular line of mousse that made my hair silky. The new stuff feels like cheap hairspray. *tear*

  1. I skipped Lauren's blank this week, but I'm still following along and am amazed at all those funny answers. And believe it or not, I did have orange hair too at some point. Totally would have made it on those blanks too...the worst hair ever! :(

    Happy Friday.

  2. Yeah, there's not much you can do with orange. A big reason why I decided to grow my hair out was because it kept turning brassier and brassier each time I had my hair done. Too many stylists making too many mistakes.

  3. Thanks for the shout out Jen! Reminds me to head on over to Lauren's blog & link up to her Fill in the Blanks Friday :) I love the topic this week, too!
