Keep Your Eyes on Her Horizon

{via Jazzed}

I've been in a state of flux over the past few weeks. So much obligation; so little time for frivolity. In that time, though, I started devising a great to-do list involving shopping, health and travel. Take a look:

  • I'm challenging myself to a bit of Extreme Couponing (in a slightly more sane fashion than what the television show depicts). I wanted to start this week, but of course there weren't any coupons in this week's paper.
  • I have what I believe to be an amazing and innovative diet that I'm excited to document for the blog soon! It's kind of the most brilliant idea. Ever!
  • With my 30th birthday on the horizon (October), I've been trying to come up with the perfect way to celebrate. It's so difficult to plan a big bash when most of your friends have children, so I'm leaning toward a big trip instead! This big trip epiphany has lead into a photography/novel mashup. Why not use my 30th birthday to launch my novelling career and advance my photography passion?! It's almost too perfect to be true!

So, as you can see, my mind has been busy planning and plotting ;) I'll be buying a Sunday paper this coming week to get the extreme couponing rolling, which should play right into my upcoming diet plan. As for the big trip, I've signed up for a Groupon account which is set to the trip's destination! I'm going to pre-pay for as much as I possibly can to make sure that this actually happens, and with Groupon, I'll be paying about half price for it all!

  1. What a great idea!!! I am an October baby too! I was supposed to be born on Halloween but made my debut a wee bit early (October 1). No wonder I am nuts about Halloween!

  2. We are also monitoring Groupon for our trip to Cali in a month, but haven't seen anything interesting yet. I used coupons and saved $6, far from extreme :)

  3. I love the birthday aspirations! You go girl!

  4. Applying to Groupon for your set destination is SUCH a good idea!! And I can't wait to hear about your birthday plans working out. My 30th is in December, and I'm having a heck of a time deciding what to do (most of my friends do not have children).

  5. awesome! i love your 30th birthday plan, and i can't wait to hear about this brilliant diet!
