Miniature Patisserie

Ever since I was a little girl, I've dreamed of owning a dollhouse. My dad once went so far as to buy one to assemble, but the task was daunting and the pieces were left in the box indefinitely. To this day, I have no idea what happened to that kit. Knowing that I almost had a dollhouse of my very own has left my inner child with a yearning for all things miniature.

I've recently stumbled upon a series of blogs specializing in miniatures, and I'm actually entertaining the idea of creating a dollhouse from scratch. But it occurred to me that once the structure is completed, I will need to furnish the house! I've seen cheap plastic replicas of scaled down food items and furniture that just haven't impressed me. That's when I took to Etsy and found ...

Pei Li specializes in cakes, pastries, flowers and plants. They are so true to life, but at a scale of 1:12. Each piece is handcrafted with care, and her attention to detail is almost unfathomable! If you hop on over to her shop, I would love to know which items are your favorites! I personally love her pretty little French Macarons.

You can also find her on Facebook and at her blog.
