Through the Looking Glass of GlassesUSA

Here's a little-known fact about me: I have terrible eyesight. I got my first pair of glasses in the 6th grade (which were hideous purple round things) and then moved on to contacts during high school. I've always been really bad about wearing them consistently, and I'm paying for it now with blurriness and headaches.

After I graduated high school and got my first job with medical benefits, I forced myself to go to an optometrist for a pair of eyeglasses which I vowed to wear every single day. The problem was that the only way for me to get frames that looked halfway decent was to break the bank and splurge on a horrendously expensive pair. Needless to say, I wore those until they were falling apart at the seams -er, screws- and I'm desperately in need of a new pair.

As if reading my mind, I received an email from GlassesUSA.com with details about a New Year Sale of 20% off any pair of eyeglasses and FREE US shipping (with the code: New2012). I have to admit, I'm tempted!

If I'm going to buy glasses to save my writer's eyes from total failure, I'd like to do so with a company who's website sports a "librarian chic" model on their landing page and can offer me frames for under $50. They have a 110% lowest price guarantee and refer-a-friend program.

GlassesUSA.com seems like a fantastic online eyeglasses store, and I'll happily share my experience if I order a pair! I keep going back and forth between designer Armani frames and their vintage styles. I guess I'll have to upload a photo and play around with their virtual mirror!
