1. On a scale from 1-10 the
frequency with which I get sick is, well, it feels like a 5 or 6 this year! The public seems so ill this year for some reason. I was sick not once, not twice, but three times last December. I miss the immunities from working in a school.
2. The
last time I felt sick was last month. I loaded up on vitamins and echinacea, which kept it at bay!
3. The worst part about being
sick is missing out on all of the fun stuff going on around you.That, and being stuffy at night.
4. When I am
sick I like to be taken care of by being sent to the couch with a book, and having Joe make me tea.
5. Something I
do to keep myself healthy is take my vitamins and that miraculous echinacea! It really does work!
6. A secret remedy that I use when I'm sick is Thai food. Spicy food is awesome for a stuffy nose!
7. One thing that
always makes me feel better when I'm sick is a drink of some sort. If I have a cold, I want something hot like tea with honey or something from Starbucks. If I have the flu, I love icy coconut water or crisp apple juice.

ReplyDeleteIt works like a charm every time! I usually add a little extra hot sauce to heighten the kick, too.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I can be the worst couch potato. I don't watch a lot of TV during the day, I do plant myself here with my laptop - especially when I'm sick!
