Old Hollywood Glamour

Happy Friday, everyone! I'd like to kick off this weekend by introducing you all to the revamped Haute Whimsy Etsy shop, which now features crystal-laced old Hollywood prints.

I've been curating these images for years and have spent hours upon hours digitally restoring photos, many of which date all the way back to the 1920s. After the restoration, I embellish the prints with crystals and other accents to add hints of glimmer and highlights to jewels. It's been a meticulous process, but I'm beyond pleased with the final product. This hobby has turned into a true passion, and I'm excited to officially launch the Old Hollywood section of the shop today!

6 prints have already sold and have received rave reviews from the customers, my favorite being:

"Hi Jen,

Just wanted to let you know I received my Marilyn print which was a gift for my best friend's 30th birthday. She LOVED it! Made her cry - was the PERFECT gift for her. Thank you so much!

Amber"

That little note melted me on the spot :)

Another one read:

"FASTEST SHIPPING!!! BEST COMMUNICATION!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE PICTURES!!! I LOVE THAT NOT THE SAME OLD PICTURES ARE USED!! I ALSO LOVE THAT THE EMBELLISHMENTS ARE VERY UNIQUE!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS SHOP!!! YOU WILL LOVE IT TOO!!"

I hope you enjoy the prints that are in the shop right now. I have about 5 times that amount in my studio right now which still need to be photographed and listed.

*All photos measure 5"x7" and are matted in an 8"x10" mat, and arrive ready to pop into any standard 8"x10" frame!

Have a most lovely Mother's Day weekend!
