I have serious letting go issues when it comes to discontinued items that I've loved. Sadly, it seems like most things that I become addicted to end up being discontinued, such as ...

  • Moku Sticks from Islands - yum!
  • Pantene mousse (the original formula)
  • The perfect panties from Gilligan & O'Malley
  • Night-Blooming Jasmine from Bath & Body Works (this one comes and goes - they can't make up their mind)

Let's not forget my favorite TV shows which have ended ...

I just love too many things and it breaks my heart every time "the man" doesn't see the value in my favorite things! I'm still craving those delicious appetizers from Islands and my old Pantene-perfect hair, and I'm quick to rant about their absence in my life.

What are some of your discontinued favorites?!

Coming up next: "A vivid memory."

  1. I used to think that it was just my luck, that anytime I found something truly fun or intriguing, it always seemed like it ended ... so while I'm sad that it isn't just me because it means other people miss things too, it's kind of nice having some company ;o) hehe

    1. Honestly, I'm glad it's not just me, either! I felt a little bullied ;) Joe is always warning me to not say I love something out loud!

  2. I have to agree with you on many of the shows you listed. I loved the Strawberry lemon aid sent by bath and body works and was deeply sad when it was discontinued. I also had a favorite eyeshadow that I used very sparingly because I knew I would never be able to find it again, you could imagine my horror when my gorgeous little girl got her hands on it and spilled the entire loose powdered awesomeness all over the bathroom floor. I also loved the clearly Canadian water back in the day and was very sad when they stopped making it.

    1. Oh, my heart is breaking for you! I'm so sorry for the fate of your eyeshadow :( I know how yo feel.

I loooooooved Clearly Canadian, too! It's one of those epic childhood memories. It was so crisp and perfect on a hot summer's day.
