Yesterday was my youngest brother's 22nd birthday. That is so weird to me! We're 12 years apart and watching him grow up has almost been like a parent watching their child become an adult. I remember the days before he even started school when he'd wake me up on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons together. So sweet!
Now he's a personal trainer living on his own and, much to my mom's chagrin, choosing to be a vegetarian. This made my mom's task of cooking him a birthday dinner a bit of a challenge. Not being a vegetarian herself, she had a difficult time wrapping her head around creating a satisfying menu. In the end it became a delicious mish-mosh of dishes: white rice with a choice of Indian curry or Japanese curry, Peruvian rice, veggie chili and cornbread, a gourmet salad and homemade cheesecake.
I gave him a couple of party games, Cards and Against Humanity and Mobscenity, because everyone needs party games for entertaining once they move out on their own! He ripped into Cards Against Humanity and our family played 3 disturbing rounds. I'm mildly scarred by the experience ;)
Have you ever played "the party game for horrible people"? If so, what was your most shocking card? I'd love to hear!
