I'm back from my trip to Washington! It was a nice week full of state park visits and shopping for my dad's 60th birthday. He upgraded his phone, his car and then I upgraded his eating habits with some NutriBullet recipes that he didn't hate ;)
While I was in the land of clean air and green trees, I toyed with the idea of buying a vacation home there instead of in the mountains here in California. The prices are the same but you get so much more for your money the further north you go. Bonus: I'd get to spend more time with my dad! Things to think about.
